Entry

This entry was originally a small, beat up space and but we cleverly overcame the cramped quarters and obstacle of an awkward radiator that did not allow room for furniture, in this charming entryway for a client in Irvington, NY. A custom floating cream lacquer console perfectly fills the space and draws the eye away from the radiator. The beautiful custom mirror enlarges the small entry while the backdrop of grass cloth walls bring texture and interest to this elegant vignette. Tasteful accessories and a functional catchall tray complete the look.

Living Room Console Vignette

Balance and layering of accessories are the key elements to this refined console vignette. Caroline Kopp heightened the symmetry of the console by selecting curved table lamps that visually extend the console’s rounded legs. Soft muted colors in the furniture, accessories and wall color allow the lines of the vignettes to shine. A beachy, relaxed vibe comes through in the seagrass basket, faux seashell and natural round wood mirror. Kopp’s masterful handling of scale, form and symmetry make for a simply elegant, yet understated vignette.

Monochromatic Living Room

This room, located in a 1928 Tudor cottage, is the formal living room but also the passage way to the kitchen, stairs, dining room, and home office.  We kept the traffic patterns open while also providing seating for five, comfortable TV viewing, and a console wall with a mirror over it. A monochromatic palette of beiges and pale cool blue grey carries across walls, curtains, sofa, chairs and rug in this inviting living room. The serene colors create a cohesive look that is visually appealing, while the soft and luxurious fibers in the wool and silk rug and velvet chairs make this room as comfortable as it is beautiful.

Office Bookcase

In this custom bookcase for a client in Irvington, Caroline Kopp created a bold juxtaposition between light and dark by accessorizing with cream accessories that pop against the backdrop of a rich, chocolate finish back panel. Details like butcher-paper-wrapped books add style, while family photos bring personality and interest to the vignette. A touch of greenery is the last layer to finish off this perfect little bookcase vignette.
